DEKALB COUNTY, Ga. — DeKalb County police are searching for a man they said shot and killed a man outside a busy Stone Mountain strip mall during the day.
The incident happened Tuesday in the 5600 block of Redan Road around 5 p.m. Police were called to the scene and found Anthony Jordan, 29, suffering from a gunshot wound. He was rushed to the hospital where he later died.
Channel 2 Action News obtained surveillance video from the DeKalb County Police Department that shows a man appearing to have no fear while firing four shots in a parking lot, sending people running for their lives.
"He stares at this Metro PCS employee in the face, raises his firearm with two hands, fires four shots, and our victim falls," Chris Tappan, with DeKalb County Police Department, said.
Police said the suspect cased the victim for about 45 minutes before the violence ensued, and had no hesitation as he shot and killed him. Out of the four shots fired, Jordan was hit twice.
A bullet even crashed through a hair salon window.
"It could have been me. I could have been getting my hair done at that time. I could have been injured or a child," a woman told Channel 2 Action News.

The suspect is described as being about 6 feet, 2 inches tall and weighing 300 pounds. He was wearing what appeared to be a tactical shirt, cargo pants and police style black boots. He was seen driving a bluish-gray Cadillac.
"He's certainly proficient from that range. Possible prior military or police experience," Tappan said.
Police said there is no apparent motive and no interaction between the two men until the shots.
"I can't say if it's an incident that occurred that morning. I don't know if it's a relationship involved with another woman. I just don't know."
Jordan's family and friends have not been able to help investigators with a motive either.
No arrests have been made as of Thursday.
