WHITE COUNTY, Ga. — Two hikers were rescued on Mount Yonah Saturday with the help of a drone deployed by White County Sheriff officials.
Authorities said officers received a call from two hikers on Mount Yonah that said they were lost in the dark.

White County Fire Services then deployed a drone after receiving coordinates provided by dispatchers.
With the help of thermal imaging, the drone quickly located the hikers.

In a video obtained by Channel 2 Action News, the drone is seen over the wooded area and, at one point, captures several moving figures that were identified as the hikers.

After being located by the drone, fire personnel entered the trail and escorted the two hikers back to their vehicle.
No one was injured in the incident.
