ATLANTA — After two days of record-breaking temperatures, Monday continued the heat streak with a near-record 94 degrees.
The record of today stands at 95 degrees, said Severe Weather Team 2 Meteorologist Brian Monahan.
Those hot temperatures are expected to stick around for a few more days as well.
"We've already been as hot so far this year as we have gotten all of last year," Monahan said.
