SAVANNAH, Ga. — When it comes to booking a vacation, usually the first thought is, “Where am I staying,”?
Out of 25 hotels, the number one hotel in the United States is found in Savannah, according to a new ranking by Trip Advisor.

The travel guide awards Travelers’ Choice Best of the Best to hotels with above-and-beyond reviews and community opinions throughout a year’s period.
Tripadvisor states that less than 1% of its 8 million listings are rewarded Best of the Best, noting the level of excellence in hospitality.

Whether it’s a romantic getaway or a weekend trip, the deep-rooted city has a lot to offer, including the best of the best hotels.
Perry Lane Hotel, a luxury collection hotel was ranked as the top hotel in the U.S.
With over 2,600 reviews and a 5-star rating, the hotel is said to resemble the charming city.
Right in the midst of the historic district, Perry Lane has a rooftop pool, library, and boutique rooms. Tripadvisor said the visionary hotel represents Savannah’s past, captures its present, and champions its future.
Reviewer Hector A. wrote,” Wonderful rooftop, bar, and pool. Great service by doormen and hotel private driver. Highly recommend this hotel.”
Another review by Barbara R. states, " The Perry Lane Hotel in Savannah is a gem! The restaurant, bars, and lounges, are beautifully appointed and the art collection throughout the hotel is an unexpected delight to look at.”

Other hotels that made the list was Hotel Emma at Pearl in San Antonio, TX, French Quarter Inn in Charlestons, SC, and The Ivery’s Hotel in Charlotte, NC.
