Storms that moved through metro Atlanta have left damage across the area. There were seven tornado warnings across north Georgia since 5 a.m. Thursday.
Trees are down across several roads and many areas are experiencing serious flooding. In Gordon County, strong storms left major damage, knocking down trees and pulling the roof off of a house.

At one point, more than 13,000 people were without power, according to Georgia Power. Georgia EMC said more than 9,000 of its customers were without power. The majority of the outages were in metro Atlanta.
Some school districts are closing early because of the damage the storms left behind. Here’s the full list.

Here’s a county-by-county breakdown of what’s happening right now:
Atlanta
A tree down in northwest Atlanta has closed part of a road.
The heavy rain caused major flooding in parts of Atlanta Thursday morning.
A ground stop was put into place at the Atlanta airport Thursday morning. Delays are averaging around 1 hour, according to the FAA.
DeKalb County
In Dunwoody, a tree fell onto a car on I-285 EB at Ashford Dunwoody Road around 9 a.m. Thankfully no one was injured.
All but two lanes of the interstate were closed as crews worked to clean up the mess.
The interstate has since reopened.
Brookhaven has closed the Peachtree Creek Greenway because of major flooding.
Fulton County
Trees have fallen across several roads in north Fulton County.
In Sandy Springs, a tree fell on a car driving down Hammond Drive.
In Roswell, flooding and trees have closed several streets.
Several roads are also closed in Milton because of flooding caused by the heavy rain.
Trees also fell in parts of south Fulton County. Channel 2′s Tyisha Fernandes was in Fairburn, where this tree fell across a road.
Gordon County
Storms left major damage in Gordon County. Strong winds ripped roofs off of homes and knocked down several trees southeast of Adairsville. Channel 2′s Richard Elliot is on the scene.
Schools will release early Thursday because of the weather.
Cherokee County
In Cherokee County, flooding has closed several roads in the area. The Sheriff’s Office tweeted out that parts of Union Hill Road, Gilmer Ferry Road, Wright’s Mill Road and Water Tanks Road are blocked because of water in the roadway.
Hall County
A water main break shut down Calvary Church Road after it caused part of the road to wash out.
Douglas County
Flooding is blocking the entrance to a subdivision in Douglas County.
A crash involving a power pole closed Chapel Hill Road for several hours Thursday morning.
Cobb County
In Cobb County, a tree fell across Cooper Lake Road, causing delays.
Channel 2′s Chris Jose also found flooding on Windy Hill Road near I-75.
Paulding County
Channel 2′s Dave Huddleston is in Paulding County, where heavy rain has caused flooding on several roads.
Habersham County
The Habersham County sheriff tweeted video of a water-covered Creasy Patch Road in Alto.
Floyd County
Chattooga County
Schools in Chattooga County were closed for the day on Thursday because of the storms.
Whitfield County
In Dalton, two people had to be rescued from their cars overnight after they tried to drive through high water.
Madison County/Franklin County
A Channel 2 Action News viewer sent us these photos and video of flooding at Victoria Bryant State Park in Royston, Georgia.
Troup County
According to a report, heavy rain overwhelmed nearby facilities in LaGrange, causing sewage to backup and overflow.
