ATHENS, Ga. — The University of Georgia is offering free help and gift cards for couples who take part in their relationship enrichment program.
UGA said it’s actively recruiting for the ELEVATE program, which gives out gift cards to couples to go to therapy.
ELEVATE is a no cost relationship education program for all couples in committed relationships.
During the 12-hour program, the couple will “engage in fun activities with other couples and learn skills you can use to:”
- Better manage stress
- Strengthen your connection with each other
- Deal with differences in healthy ways
- “Elevate” the quality of your relationships
Locations including in Clarke, Henry, Gwinnett, Troup and other counties in Georgia. There is also a virtual option for those who live in other parts of metro Atlanta.
People who take part in the program can receive free e-gift cards and have their relationship “elevated to the next level.”
Funding for this project was provided by the United States Department of Health and Human Services, Administration for Children and Families (ACF) grant.
