CHEROKEE COUNTY, Ga. — A 20-year-old University of Georgia student is facing multiple counts of child pornography.
Gabriel Lemay was arrested Wednesday in his dorm room at the UGA campus in Athens.
The Cherokee County sheriff’s department said it received a cyber-tip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children regarding child pornography being accessed at Lemay’s Woodstock home.
When investigators arrived at the home Wednesday, they discovered Lemay had returned to UGA, where he is a student.
