ATLANTA — ABC News reports that a person of interest in custody in Pennsylvania in connection to the deadly shooting of UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thompson.
New York Police identified him as 26-year-old Luigi Mangione.
Sources have told Channel 2′s Michael Seiden that the man does not have any known “family” or “history” ties to Atlanta.

ABC News reports that a man walked into a McDonald’s where a witness recognized him from photos that police put out. Sources told ABC News that the man had a fake ID and a gun similar to the one used in the shooting that killed Thompson in midtown Manhattan.
NYPD detectives are now heading to Altoona, Pennsylvania, according to ABC News.
NYPD detectives were previously on the ground here in Atlanta over the weekend. Investigators believe the suspect boarded a Greyhound bus that originated in Atlanta and headed to New York where he shot Thompson 10 days later. Police have not said where he got on the bus.
Sources told Seiden that the detectives have already flown back to New York.
