ATLANTA — A flight bound for Atlanta was diverted to Denver due to an incident on board.
Delta Airlines told Channel 2 Action News Delta Flight 44 from Portland to Atlanta was diverted to Denver due to an unruly passenger.

The flight landed in Denver without incident.
Passengers told Channel 2 Action News they had no idea why they were landing.

“A couple of people from the airport came on the plane, and she went off with them,” Erin Porter, a passenger on the flight, said.
The identity of the passenger and what transpired have not been released.

“We apologize to our customers on board for the disruption and delay to their travel plans,” Delta Airlines officials said in a statement to Channel 2 Action News.
The Federal Bureau of Investigation said they are still investigating and have not said whether or not the passenger will face charges.
