DOUGLAS COUNTY, Ga. — Police now say that a shooting at a busy Best Buy was a distraction so two men could steal nearly $5,000 worth of merchandise.
The incident happened Monday afternoon in Douglasville when someone fired a gun at the store's ceiling.
After shots rang out and customers fled the store, police said two men stole drones and a laptop before running out with everyone else.
Police arrested Arnaldo Rodriguez, 39, Tuesday night. Police are still searching for his accomplice, who they say is a man with an AK-47 or AR-15-style rifle tattooed on his neck.
