MONROE, Ga. — A Conyers couple was shot and the wife was left dead on Christmas Day, according to police.
Monroe police say they were called to a home on Maple Way off of Hwy. 78 just after 6 p.m. where they found a man and woman shot.

Tyesha Colley, 35, was pronounced dead at the scene. Her 41-year-old husband, Jermaul Colley, had also been shot.
There is no word on the extent of his injuries.
Shortly after, police arrested 21-year-old Devin Sullivan and charged him with murder and aggravated assault.

Police did not comment on what led up to the shootings or if Sullivan knew the victims.
Sullivan is currently being held in the Walton County Jail.
