There are several fast food restaurants and grocery stores by the intersection.
Early Wednesday morning, an 8-inch water main burst in the middle of the intersection.
News Chopper 2 showed the scene as crews closed the road and got the water shut down.
But the break buckled the pavement, causing damage in the northbound lanes.

Fast Trac Car Wash couldn’t open due to the break and the manager was concerned they’d lose an entire day of business.
But a little before 9 a.m. crews flushed the lines, got the pipe fixed, and returned water service to 26 businesses.
Road repairs are taking longer.
The road reopened at around 5 a.m. on Thursday morning.
