Weather Aware: Severe storms possible today for north Georgia

ATLANTA — Much of Georgia will see the chance for pop-up storms Friday and more rain into the weekend.

Severe Weather Team 2 Meteorologist Brad Nitz said there won’t be widespread storms, but any storms that develop will have the potential to be severe.
