ATLANTA — We’re stuck in a wet weather pattern this week and parts of Georgia could receive up to two inches of rain.
Severe Weather Team 2 Chief Meteorologist Glenn Burns said an area of tropical moisture is stuck over our area.
Several thunderstorms popped up north and south of Atlanta on Tuesday afternoon, bringing lightning and isolated downpours.
Glenn said high humidity has sent the heat index soaring into the mid to upper 90s in some areas of north Georgia.
