ATLANTA — The first full week of October is going to be very wet.
Some areas saw heavy rain Monday and more rain is coming for most of the week.
Severe Weather Team 2 Chief Meteorologist Glenn Burns said an upper level low in the area will bring waves of rain over the next several days.

Burns said we’ll see more rain this week than the average amount for the entire month of October. This month usually averages 3.28 inches, and we’re expected to get 3 to 5 inches over the next several days.

A Flash Flood Watch has been issued for part of metro Atlanta until 2 a.m. Thursday. Parts of Hall County already had flooded roads by Monday afternoon.
