“I looked to the right and I saw some people dangling off the highway,” said Cameron Spann.

Spann shoots music videos but what he saw on I-20 rivaled the wildest scenes he’s shot. While driving, he pulled out his phone and started recording.

“My initial thought was maybe they might need some help. I don’t know but then I saw the police officer, so then I thought this was a crime scene,” said Spann.

But this all started minutes before Spann pulled up.

Investigators said they attempted to pull over 25-year-old Dyshawn West in the eastbound lanes of I-20. But they said West tried to drive away, crashed his car, and then started running from the Eastbound lanes jumping over the barrier into to westbound lanes.

TRENDING STORIES:

Eventually, Troopers caught up to West on the side of the westbound lanes and that’s when they used a Taser on him. Cameron’s video captures the next moments when investigators said West ran again.

“The guy he fell like 50 feet from the side of the highway and then he started running across the highway with one handcuff on,” said Spann.

Eventually, a bystander tackled West and troopers got him in handcuffs.

Despite his wild run through traffic, West was checked out at the hospital, then taken to the Fulton County Jail.
