Police: Woman arrested for exposing herself to officer

GWINNETT COUNTY, Ga. — A Buford woman was arrested and charged with disorderly conduct after repeatedly exposing herself to an officer, according to police.

Gwinnett police said Angela Warren, 37, of Buford was standing in the middle of the road waving her hands in the air when an officer arrived on the scene.

He was dispatched to the location near Gold Creek Way and Thomas Hill Way June 2 in reference to a suspicious person call.

The complaint was in regards to a woman walking down the street, talking to herself and kicking a ball.

The officer approached Warren and she pulled up her shirt, exposing herself to him, a police report said.

According to the officer, she continued to expose herself several times. The officer asked Warren what she was doing- to which she that she was playing ball with kids, the report said.

The officer asked Warren to put her shirt down and she complied. Then, she walked over to the patrol car and bent over it with her hands behind her back. She told the officer to go ahead and arrest her, according to the report.

When asked if she was under the influence of drugs or alcohol, Warren reportedly said no, adding that she had been “clean for years.”

She was arrested and charged with disorderly conduct.

Warren tested positive for methamphetamine, according to the report.
