ATLANTA — A woman is dead after a crashing into a tractor trailer in northwest Atlanta.
Atlanta Fire Department said they responded to the 2300 block of Marietta Blvd northwest at 4:30 a.m. for a motor vehicle accident.

When firefighters got to the scene, they saw an accident involving a tractor-trailer and a Ford Escape.
The Ford SUV was wedged underneath the trailer and firefighters confirmed that the driver of the SUV was trapped.

Firefighters said they discovered that the driver had no pulse and was pronounced dead on the scene.
Firefighters used a wrecker to lift the trailer to dislodge the SUV and get the woman out.
