Casket trucks are small, foldable carts used to push caskets around the funeral home and into the waiting hearse.
Bibb County Coroner Leon Jones told the outlet that the funeral home’s surveillance cameras captured a woman walk up to the front porch and take the trucks.

Jones said the fact that the woman stole casket trucks is just bizarre.
“You can only sell those to another funeral home and if you wanted to use them to haul plywood, you would still have to hold it in place,” he said. “It doesn’t make sense why someone would steal a casket truck.”

Jones has offered to pick the trucks up wherever the woman leaves them.
