"The Channel 2 Action News iPad App was built to keep Georgians plugged into local news," said Tim McVay, vice president and general manager of Channel 2 WSB-TV. "The app is constantly updated and delivers breaking news, weather and traffic coverage twenty four hours a day."
This interactive app is loaded with hundreds of local stories from the City of Atlanta, Fulton, Cobb, Gwinnett, DeKalb, Clayton and 50 other counties.
“With an easy to navigate design, users can quickly read the day’s top stories and watch videos from reporters working in local neighborhoods,” said News Director Mike Dreaden.

Users can take control of the interactive radar and track bad weather before it hits their neighborhood. These powerful weather tracking tools are backed by Atlanta’s most experienced team of meteorologists: Chief Meteorologist Glenn Burns and meteorologists Karen Minton, David Chandley and Brad Nitz.
The Channel 2 Action News iPad App also helps local drivers around traffic backups with real time interactive road maps, current highway speeds and point-to-point drive times.
