UNITED STATES — If you own a John Deere riding lawnmower, they are now being recalled, CNN reports.
Kawasaki Motors USA says it is recalling nearly 40,000 Z-Trak zero turn mowers with Kawasaki Engines due to potential hazards they pose.

The mowers were sold in the United States and Canada between October 2018 and September 2024, officials say.
Hazards include potential fire and burn possibilities, however, no injuries have been reported thus far.

Officials warn owners of these mowers to cease use and to immediately contact a John Deere Dealership for additional information.
Repairs to lawnmowers with Kawasaki engines are free.
