UNITED STATES — Microsoft is planning to make waves with artificial intelligence in 2025 and will place significant financial backing to support their endeavors.
This upcoming fiscal year, the company said it expects to invest $80 billion to build data centers, CNN reports.

The data centers will be used to train artificial intelligence models and cloud-based applications worldwide.
This week, Microsoft said more than half of the $80 million investment will be made in the United States, the company said in a blog post.
The U.S. is currently at the forefront of the global A.I. race Microsoft estimates.
