ACWORTH, Ga. — An Acworth man is facing a child cruelty charge.
Acworth Police Major Wayne Dennard said 23-year-old Anthony Blaylock turned himself in after doctor's determined his son suffered a strike to his head.
Police discovered the injured child at his home with his father in the 5200 block of Cardinal Way on Tuesday.
The infant is currently in stable condition at Children's Healthcare of Atlanta at Egleston Hospital with trauma to his head.
Blaylock is being held at the Cobb County jail without bond. At last check his first court appearance is pending, said Dennard.
