FAYETTE COUNTY, Ga.,None — The son of former world heavyweight boxing champion Evander Holyfield was in the Fayette County Jail on drug charges Wednesday.
The sheriff's office confirmed to Channel 2 Action News that Ewin Ezekiel Holyfield, 20, was arrested by Peachtree City Police.
Holyfield was charged with possession of less than an ounce of marijuana, driving with a suspended license, an expired tag, and defective equipment, according to police.
A judge set bond for Holyfield at $2,726 according to jail records.
Holyfield is the only boxer to win the world heavyweight belt four times. He now lives on an estate in Fayette County.
