HART COUNTY, Ga. — A Hartwell man was arrested on charges of sexual exploitation of children Friday, police said.
Authorities found hundreds of images of suspected child pornography on a laptop belonging to Chad Temple, 39, according to the Georgia Bureau of Investigation. They also said they found more than 135 CDs and DVDs of suspected child pornography in Temple's bedroom.
GBI agents and Hart County deputies searched his home on Old 29 Highway in Hartwell on Thursday. They seized the laptop, CDs and DVDs as evidence.
Through an investigation by the Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force, Temple's IP address was observed sharing images of suspected or known child pornography.
He was being held the Hart County Detention Center.
