President Trump sees bump in Georgia following conventions, more undecided, Channel 2 poll finds

ATLANTA — An exclusive new poll shows President Donald Trump is widening his lead in Georgia following the Democratic and Republican conventions.

The latest Channel 2 Action News/Landmark Communications poll surveyed 500 likely voters about who they would vote for following the conventions.

Trump has the lead with 47.9% and former Vice President Joe Biden has 40.5%. Libertarian candidate Jo Jorgensen has 2.3%.

About 9.3% of those polled said they are undecided. The poll’s margin of error is 4.4%.

In the last Channel 2/Landmark poll, there was only about 2% difference between Trump and Biden. That gap has now increased nearly 8%.

Just under 4% of voters said they were undecided in the previous poll. That number has also widened to just over 9%.
