ATLANTA, Ga — Lots of local Atlanta restaurants are teaming up with other companies and businesses to step up for those hospital workers on the front lines amid the COVID-19 pandemic.
PruittHealth wants to make sure its workers are taken care of and have teamed up with Waffle House to provide meals for those working overtime.
Waffle House is putting their food truck that was built for Hurricane Katrina to work during the coronavirus crisis. The truck is feeding many front-line hospital workers some scattered and covered goodness.
And it’s a win-win, as Waffle House workers say it’s great getting to work; since many of their restaurants are currently shut down.
This will be an ongoing initiative and the truck will cater to different PruittHealth properties over the next few weeks.
