Minute-by-minute: Day 19 of the Ross Harris hot car death trial

GLYNN COUNTY, Ga. — It’s been more than two years since 22-month-old Cooper Harris died in the back seat of a hot SUV outside a Cobb County office building.

His father, Ross Harris, is now on trial for his death.

11:36 a.m. Court adjourns for the day. Will resume at 8:30 a.m. Thursday.

11:31 a.m. "I saw him struggle with sexual sin at the same time as I saw him being a tremendous friend to me and a tremendous father," Kirkpatrick said.

11:27 a.m. Kirkpatrick says Harris never expressed malice or hatred towards his son. "Exactly the opposite."

11:26 a.m. Kirkpatrick says Leanna was contemplating leaving Harris at times.

11:21 a.m. Harris grins as Kirkpatrick talks about their friendship. Kirkpatrick described Harris as "very friendly, always the life of the party." He says Harris was "even-keel all the time."

11:19 a.m. Kirkpatrick, who says he is Harris' best friend, says he's disappointed in Harris' actions.

11:18 a.m. Kirkpatrick says Harris visited websites, such as Adult Friend Finder, Adult Sex Finder and Ashley Madison.

11:17 a.m. Kirkpatrick says "Covenant Eyes" did not work for Harris.

11:14 a.m. Kirkpatrick says he was Harris' "Covenant Eyes" partner, the software that allowed him to see the questionable websites that Harris visited.

11:12 a.m. Kirkpatrick says he spent lots of time with Harris and his family and says Harris was a very loving father.

11:05 a.m. Kirkpatrick says he ran a group at their church in Tuscaloosa about sexual sins.

11:02 a.m. Defense calls Billy Kirkpatrick to the stand. Kirkpatrick has known Harris for years. The two were roommates in Tuscaloosa and went to church together.

11:01 a.m. Coyle says in the 28 months since Cooper's death, no one with the Cobb County police department ever contacted her.

10:59 a.m. Court resumes. Defense calls Heather Coyle back to the stand.

10:25 a.m. Simmons agrees that what he's learned about Harris and his relationships with other women throughout the trial is very different than the man he knows.

10:19 a.m. Simmons says Harris was very proud of Cooper.

10:15 a.m. Simmons says he wishes he'd known what Harris was going through because he would have helped him out.

10:14 a.m. Simmons says he met Cooper for the first time in May 2014.

10:07 a.m. Defense calls Michael Simmons to the stand. Simmons met Harris in a high school bible study and has known him for 16 years.

9:55 a.m. Coyle says she had spoken to Harris briefly at church about the cruise before he sent her an email about it on June 17, 2014.

9:46 a.m. Defense calls Heather Coyle to the stand. Coyle is the travel agent who Harris emailed about a cruise for his family. Coyle knew the Harris family through church.

9:43 a.m. Coyle said it appeared that the only reason Harris told them about the pornography was because Leanna was going to tell the women's group.

9:41 a.m. Coyle said Cooper was the center of Harris' attention. He says Harris was a loving dad.

9:40 a.m. Coyle said in their men's group Harris told them he was having a problem with pornography.

9:37 a.m. Coyle said he and his wife were in a small group with Harris and his wife.

9:36 a.m. Defense calls Nathaniel Coyle to the stand. Coyle attended church with Harris and his family.

9:32 a.m. Henry says he never met Cooper and would not know about anything going on personally in Harris' life.

9:24 a.m. Henry says Harris told him he was planning a party for Cooper's birthday, which was in August.

9:17 a.m. Henry says Harris scheduled a meeting the rest of their team for the morning of June 18, 2014, the day Cooper died, but the meeting was rescheduled for 3:30 in the afternoon.

9:08 a.m. Henry says Harris was very outgoing and welcoming. He says Harris was a nice guy that he got along with. He says he wouldn't necessarily say they were friends outside of work, but would talk at the office.

9:04 a.m. Court resumes. Defense calls Ryan Henry to the stand. Henry worked with Harris at Home Depot.
