That means the $640 million jackpot rolls over and the next drawing Wednesday night. The updated jackpot right now sits at $730 million. When you combine that with the $850 Mega Millions jackpot, we’re talking about over $1.5 billion in potential winnings.

There is one lucky Powerball player from the state of Georgia who matched all five white balls and earned a $1 million payout. No word at this time on where in the state that winner is.

Powerball still holds the record for largest jackpot ever at $1.586 billion for a drawing held January 13, 2016. Mega Millions had a $1.537 billion prize October 23, 2018.

The biggest Mega Millions winner in Georgia history, that was a $648 million jackpot in December of 2013, shared with someone from California.

Surprisingly, nobody from the state of Georgia has cashed in on any of the top 10 largest Powerball jackpots according to the Powerball corporation.

You can watch drawings for both Powerball and Mega Millions twice a week, right here on Channel 2. The next Mega Millions drawing will be Tuesday night at 10:59 p.m. with Powerball on Wednesday at the same time. Both air just ahead of WSB Tonight at 11.
