Suspect In AK-47 Killing Returned To Atlanta

ATLANTA — Police arrested a man they say pulled the trigger in a triple shooting after a search that led them to south Georgia.

Channel 2 Action News cameras captured police bringing Eric Stone into the Fulton County Jail on Thursday night.

Detectives say Stone shot and killed Ladeddric Love, 19, on Sept. 13 at a gas station on Martin Luther King Jr. Drive.

Stone is also accused of shooting Love's pregnant fiancée, 19-year old Tedra Jones, and her toddler. Police said Jones was pregnant with twins.

Detectives said surveillance video from the gas station showed Stone climbing out of a Honda with an AK-47.

"We reviewed a number of records with motor vehicles and got a positive identification of Mr. Stone. At this point still have a great deal of work to do with respects to the investigation," said Maj. Keith Meadows of the Atlanta Police Department.

Meadows said police are still looking for two more people connected to the shooting.

Stone is charged with murder and three counts of aggravated assault. He was expected to appear before a judge Friday morning.
