WOODSTOCK, Ga.,None — Woodstock police say three teenagers accused of using Craigslist to attempt to commit a robbery will turn themselves in on Friday.
Police said an officer patrolling the area of Bentley Parkway in Woodstock stopped to investigate after observing a suspicious vehicle in the parking lot of the Woodstock Community Center. While speaking with the three teens in the vehicle, the officer said he observed a fourth man hiding in some nearby bushes with a rifle.
Officials said further investigation revealed that the men were awaiting the arrival of an individual they were supposedly selling a cell phone to, which was advertised on Craigslist. The four men were planning on taking the individuals money, according to police.
Tevin Prewett, 18, of McDonough, Theo Francois, 18, of Hampton, and Edward Bozeman III, 18, of Hampton, are each charged with conspiracy to commit armed robbery. They will be turning themselves in on Friday to police.
Charges are pending on the fourth man.
