Just 10 miles from downtown, Atlanta's airport, formerly known as Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport, aims to offer a secure and efficient gateway to the world. It has 167 domestic and international gates, state-of-the-art technology throughout the airport and a diverse range of shopping and dining options.

Location: 6000 North Terminal Parkway, Atrium Suite 4000, Atlanta.
Maps: Hartsfield-Jackson airport offers a complete map of the terminals, including separate maps for the domestic and international terminals and one map each for Concourses T, A, B, C, D or E.
Driving directions: Hartsfield-Jackson is south of downtown Atlanta near Interstates 20, 75, 85 and 285. More specific directions can be found on the Atlanta airport website.
Directions to the international terminal: The international terminal has its own entrance, accessible from Interstate 75 at Exit 239. Roadway signage directs motorists to the international terminal via interstates 75, 85 and 285. The address for Maynard H. Jackson Jr. International Terminal: 2600 Maynard H. Jackson Jr. Blvd.
Where to park: There are more than 30,000 public parking spaces at Hartsfield-Jackson, 10,000 of them in covered parking decks and 7,300 in Domestic North and Domestic South Economy parking lots, 1,300 in the Domestic Park-Ride Reserve lot and 7,800 in the Airport's Domestic Park-Ride lots. Two parking facilities provide more than 3,500 spaces within minutes of the international terminal.

Terminal complex: Around 156 acres, Atlanta-Hartsfield's complex includes domestic and international terminals building and concourses T, A, B, C, D, E and F. There are 207 gates: 167 domestic and 40 international.
Airport people mover: The Atlanta airport's underground Automated People Mover connects all concourses with the domestic and international terminals. It's made up of 11 four-car trains operating about every two minutes on a 3-mile loop track.
Ground transportation: Located at the west end of the domestic terminal, the Ground Transportation Center offers shuttle bus, taxi, limo and sedan services and a spot to board area hotel and off-site parking shuttle buses. The Metropolitan Atlanta Rapid Transit Authority (MARTA), provides train service to the metro Atlanta area from its Airport rail station.
An international shuttle connector offers a free service that operates 24 hours a day to link passengers at the International Terminal with the Domestic Terminal's ground transportation area and the rental car center.
Rental car center: A state-of-the-art facility houses space for 13 rental car agencies: Advantage, Airport, Alamo, Avis, Budget, Dollar, Enterprise, E-Z, Hertz, iTravel, National, Thrifty and Payless.
The ATL SkyTrain connects travelers to the rental car center, Georgia International Convention Center, hotels and office buildings. It operates six two-car trains that can carry 100 passengers and their baggage.
Shop and dine: There's plenty to keep passengers entertained at the airport during layovers. The airport features 263 concession outlets, 114 food and beverage locations, 90 retail and convenience outlets, three duty-free stores and 56 service outlets, including a banking center, Georgia Lottery outlets, ATMs, vending machines and spas.
