Professor helps out student who had to bring baby to class, holds child during lecture

A professor at Texas Southern University made sure that a student was able to take notes in his class when she had to bring her newborn to class.

Ebony Greenfield's son was born premature, but she had already registered for the class Dr. Tyrone Dixon was teaching. Greenfield is working on her master's degree but didn't have any child care, so she brought her son with her, KTRK reported.

To make sure Greenfield was able to take notes during the lecture, Dixon cradled her son as the film professor spoke to the class, according to KTRK.

Dixon told KTRK Greenfield's bringing her son to class shows how determined she is to learn and he'll support her in doing so.
