If you drive a 2013 through 2018 Ram pickup truck with power locking tailgates, there's a recall you need to know about.
Fiat Chrysler has added more than 875,000 Ram trucks because the tailgates can open while driving, The Associated Press reported.
The latest round of recalls affects some Ram 1500, 2500 and 3500 pickups from 2013 through 2018. Trucks built from 2015 through 2017 have 8-foot beds. The 2013, 2014 and 2018 models have various bed sizes and were all made before April 1, 2018.
The company had previously recalled 1.1 million trucks last year for the same issue and added 410,000 in the U.S. in May, the AP reported.
The total number of recalls affects more than 2.4 million trucks total.
Letters will be issued to owners of the affected trucks starting around Oct. 18. Company officials suggest all loose cargo be secured before driving, according to the AP.
