The most popular names for boys and girls in 2019 has a very British tone.

The website BabyNames.com released its list of the Top 100 names Monday, and Liam was once again the most popular boys name. Charlotte, meanwhile, was the favorite name for infant girls.

It was the second straight year Liam topped the boys’ list, while Charlotte supplanted Ameila as the No. 1 girls name, according to the website.

Rounding out the favorite names for boys are Oliver, Theodore, Declan and Henry, which were all in the top five last year. The other top names for girls was 2018 champion Amelia/Emilia, Violet, Aria/Ayra and Aurora, according to BabyNames.com.

"It seems there is definitely a royal influence to baby names this year," Jennifer Moss, founder and CEO of BabyNames.com, said in a news release. "Both Liam and Charlotte are linked directly to the British Royal Family. Liam is a shorter version of the name William, like the Duke of Cambridge, and Charlotte is the name of his daughter."
