University researchers develop marijuana breath test

As more states legalize both medical and recreational marijuana, some are concerned users will be driving under the influence.

That's why a team of University of Pittsburgh researchers created a breath test that can measure the amount of THC in your system.

It took three years to develop a handheld model that could be used by police in the field, according to the Pittsburgh Tribune-Review.

It's not yet available to buy, but the researchers have a patent for the device.
