The news comes after months of speculation and rumors that Williams’ husband, manager and business partner, Kevin Hunter, has had a 10-year-affair with a mistress who gave birth to a baby March 20.

The rumors have not been confirmed by Williams or Hunter.

“For some time now, and even today and beyond, I have been living in a sober house,” she said, adding, “After I finish my appointments, seeing my brothers and sisters, breaking bread, I am driven by my 24-hour sober coach back to the home that I live in here in the tri-state with a bunch of smelly boys who have become my family. They hog the TV and watch soccer, we talk and read and talk and read, and then I get bored with them. Doors are locked by 10 p.m. Lights out by 10 p.m. So I go to my room, and I stare at the ceiling, and I fall asleep to wake up and come back here to see you. So that is my truth.”

Earlier in March, Williams addressed rumors about her marriage ending when she returned to her show after a two-month hiatus.

“I’m still very much in love with my husband, and anybody who has been married for five minutes or 500 years, you know marriages have ebbs and flows. Marriages are not easy. And don’t ask me about mine until you see (my wedding ring) gone and it ain’t going anywhere. Not in this lifetime.”

On Monday and Tuesday, Williams was photographed in New York without her ring.
