Think baseball is a big deal in Britain? It is when Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, the Duchess of Sussex, show up for pregame ceremonies.
The prince and duchess took part in the ceremonial first pitch before Saturday's game at London Stadium, MLB.com reported. The game between the two longtime rivals marked the first time a regular-season major league baseball game was played in Europe.
The couple left their month-old son, Archie, at home, but the infant was recognized by both teams. Before the first-pitch ceremonies, the royal couple was presented with a Yankees jersey and a Red Sox onesie, the BBC reported.
