NORTH CHARLESTON, S.C. — One person is dead and 14 others were wounded in a shooting Saturday night at an unauthorized concert in North Charleston, investigators said.
North Charleston Police Department arrived to the area of Piggly Wiggly and Jimtown drives around 10:27 p.m. to find multiple victims with gunshot wounds, WCSC reported.
Deputy Chief Scott Deckard said a 14-year-old female died and 14 other victims were taken to hospitals. The extent of their injuries is unclear. None of the victims have been identified.
No arrests have been made. A suspect has not been identified. Suspect information has not been released.
Investigators said a fight started near the stage for a concert in the neighborhood. Police said they were not notified about the event.
