The men were identified as Odion Turner, 42, of Portland, and David Turner, 45, according to a news release from the Portland Police Department. The two men were cousins, police said.

Odion Turner went by the stage name 12 O’Clock, while David Turner was known as Murdock, The Oregonian reported. Both men were members of the Brooklyn Zu, a Wu-Tang Clan affiliate, according to KGW.

According to the Oregon State Medical Examiner, autopsies on both men determined they died by gunshot wounds, the police news release stated. Both deaths were ruled homicides.

According to police, the shooting occurred at about 5:30 a.m. PDT in Portland.

Four people were also wounded in the shooting, The Oregonian reported. One person remained hospitalized with life-threatening injuries, police said. That person arrived at an area hospital via a private vehicle, the newspaper reported.

On Tuesday, Odion Turner’s son posted a video on his Instagram Stories account, confirming his father was shot.

“I’m out of town away from home on business and I get the call that they murdered my father,” Divine Turner said in the video. “I don’t know what to do.”

At the bottom of the Stories, the younger Turner wrote, “It’s a sad day for me. They assassinated my father in #Oregon.”

Princhesca Rainier Turner, Odion Turner’s wife of more than 20 years, lives in Florida, according to The Oregonian. She said her husband was living in Portland, where he has a lot of relatives.

On the day Odion Turner died, his oldest daughter had a baby.

“August 10, 2021. How could one day bring so much joy and so much pain?” Princhesca Rainier Turner wrote on a social media website. “My heart doesn’t know how to separate being empty and full at the same time.”

Police said the investigation is ongoing, according to the news release.
