AJC cartoonist’s tribute to Kobe Bryant joins heartwrenching collection of memorials

Atlanta Journal-Constitution political cartoonist Mike Luckovich brought us all to tears again Sunday with his heartwrenching tribute to Kobe Bryant and his daughter.

The image shows the NBA legend and his 13-year-old daughter Gianna dancing in Heaven with the caption "father-daughter dance."

Bryant and Gianna were killed along with 7 other people in a helicopter crash in California Jan. 26.

Luckovich’s tribute joins a collection of poignant drawings honoring fallen celebrities.
