NEW YORK — Ariana Grande’s brother, Frankie Grande, was reportedly robbed in New York City last week. Two teenagers have been arrested in connection with the robbery.
According to WABC, police say two teenagers, ages 13 and 17, allegedly robbed Frankie while he was walking near Eighth Avenue between West 43rd and West 44th streets on Nov. 9 around 6:30 p.m.
According to WNYW, Frankie, 39, was hit in the head from behind by two suspects. They allegedly stole Frankie’s Louis Vuitton bag, his iPhone 14 Pro, AirPods, DAG sunglasses and wallet with a bank card inside.
The alleged robbers were arrested after they tried using Frankie’s stolen credit card at a smoke shop, according to WNYW. Police said the 17-year-old allegedly had an imitation pistol and the 13-year-old allegedly had a razor blade and prescription painkillers.
The two teenagers have been charged with robbery, grand larceny, unlawful use of a credit card, criminal possession of a weapon, criminal possession of stolen property, menacing and harassment, according to WABC.
Frankie sustained minor injuries and declined treatment at the scene, according to WNYW.
