“What’s so wonderful about having pets is they bring us unconditional love, joy and comfort every day,” Biden says in the clip, the AP reported. “All of us are wishing you a very happy Valentine’s Day.”

This year’s “Puppy Bowl” will air on Discovery+ and Animal Planet beginning at 2 p.m. EST Sunday, just hours before the kickoff of Super Bowl LVI. The next day is Valentine’s Day.

President Joe Biden first announced Commander’s White House arrival in a Dec. 20 tweet.

Last month, the first lady also said the family had welcomed its newest pet, a cat named Willow.

The Bidens’ previous dogs – also German shepherds – include Champ, who died last year, and Major, who was rehomed with family friends after displaying aggressive behavior at the White House, the AP reported.
