Wickenburg police said Sarah Boone hit one of her children in the face with an open hand, kicked another on the ground and picked up another by the neck, WMAZ reported.

Police said the children, who are aged between 5 and 14 years old, did not need medical attention.

A person called police about the abuse, prompting Boone to leave. Officers found her walking down a street. When they approached her, she resisted and was tased.

She was arrested and charged with three felony counts of child abuse and misdemeanor charges of assault, disorderly conduct and resisting arrest.

Boone was previously arrested in September on similar charges. Police were also at the home in November twice for domestic violence calls.

She is being held on a $5,000 bond. If released, she will be ordered to not have contact with her children.
