The CPSC said the child was found after he got entangled by the inflatable’s hoop, which had become tangled around his neck, constricting his airway.

There was a second report of a child getting tangled in the hoop, but that child was not hurt.

The bounce house has a yellow hoop connected to a green pillar inside the main part of the inflatable.

The CPSC said the hoops were tested and that they did not meet the ASTM voluntary standard that reduces the risk of accidental head or neck entrapment.

The bounce house has been on the market since at least April 2013 as “My Bouncer Little Castle” and similar names, costing between $100 and $200.

The CPSC said to stop using them, not buy or sell them and dispose of them immediately.
