Olympic gold medalist Simone Biles announced her marriage to Houston Texans safety Jonathan Owens on Saturday.
Biles, 26, and Owens, 27, shared the news on their social media accounts.
Biles shared four photographs from her big day on her Twitter account and captioned them with “I do … Officially Owens.” She also changed her Twitter name to “Simone Biles Owens.”

The four-year NFL veteran shared similar photos on his Instagram account, writing, “My person, forever.”
The couple said they received their marriage license on April 15, ESPN reported. The license was issued in Montgomery County, Texas, according to People.
They began dating in August 2020 and announced their engagement in February 2022, ESPN reported.
Biles, from Columbus, Ohio, has won seven medals at the Olympics, including four golds at the 2016 Summer Games in Rio de Janeiro. In world competition, Biles has won 25 medals -- 19 gold, three silver and three bronze -- the most in gymnastics history, according to USA Gymnastics.
Owens, a St. Louis native who attended Missouri Western State, is a graduate of CBC High School in St. Louis County, according to KTVI-TV.
He has played in 31 games for the Texans, starting in 19 of them, according to Pro Football-Reference.com. He started all 17 of the Texans’ games in 2017.
