MEMPHIS, Tenn. — Support is pouring in from the Memphis community to help the family of the pregnant mother of 10 who was shot and killed Sunday.
Friday, A1 Auto & Truck Center and Dream Team Solutions came together to give Jacqueline Parson a new Honda Sienna minivan to accommodate her 10 grandchildren.
“It’s unfathomable what she’s gone through. We want her to have everything she needs,” said Crystell Oliver with Dream Team Solutions.
The organization and business said they’re also working to have Parson’s tax services paid for to help her pay for necessities for her grandchildren.
“I’m speechless. I was just praying to God for a new car to get the kids to the doctor’s office, to school and everywhere. I want to thank God and thank them for their donations,” says Parson.
Memphis police said they’re actively investigating the shooting and are asking anyone with information to come forward.
