WARNER ROBINS, Ga. — A Georgia woman who police said tried to rob a bank was later arrested at a Warner Robins Walmart.

Police said Abigail Lane, 37, went into a Wells Fargo in Warner Robins on Dec. 16 wearing a robot Halloween mask. Lane told people inside that “this is a stick up, this is a robbery, get down or else,” police said. Police said Lane was armed but didn’t say what sort of weapon she had.

Lane argued with staff members and ultimately left without any money.
Police said Lane was quickly located at the Walmart directly behind the bank. She was charged with criminal attempt to commit armed robbery and wearing a mask, hood or device that concealed her identity.

“Acts and statements such as those stated above cause false public alarm and are dangerous in nature,” police said.
Police and the FBI are still investigating another robbery at the Robins Financial Credit Union where a clerk was shot. Police are offering a $5,000 reward for anyone with any more information.
