MINT HILL, N.C. — A 1-year-old girl from North Carolina who triggered an Amber Alert was found safe Sunday, authorities said.
Lilliana Josephine Lemmond, of Mint Hill, had been missing since Saturday, WSOC-TV reported. Mint Hill is located southeast of the metropolitan Charlotte area. She was taken to an area hospital for evaluation, the television station reported.
According to the Mint Hill Police Department, authorities are still looking for the child’s father, Jeremy Scott Lemmond, 39.
Jeremy Lemmond is 6 feet tall and weighs 160 pounds with brown hair and blue eyes.
Authorities said Lemmond is likely driving a black 2011 Subaru Legacy with the North Carolina license tag number JBV6840, according to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children website.
Mint Hill Police said the car has a damaged muffler that is being supported by a bungee cord or strap, WSOC reported.
Police said Lemmond is believed to be with an adult woman, the television station reported.
