A Georgia mother and infant are dead and three other people, including two children, were hospitalized after a head-on crash in Catoosa County.
The crash happened Friday on Highway 151 in Ringgold.

Hannah Holland, 25, was killed at the scene. Her infant son Jackson was airlifted to the hospital, where he also died, according to family members. A 33-year-old woman and two children, ages 6 and 9, were also taken to the hospital. Their identities and conditions have not been released.

Georgia State Patrol said Holland’s car swerved into the opposite lane before overcorrecting, hitting an oncoming vehicle on the driver’s side.

Holland’s family members set up a GoFundMe to help cover funeral costs. So far, the community has raised more than $10,000.
“This afternoon Jackson went into the care of Hannah, he was surrounded by family as he left this earth,” family members wrote on Dec. 20. “Please continue to send prayers and good energy and love to Cody and the family as a whole.”
